COVID-19 Resources

Surprise! It’s a pandemic!

This isn’t what we expected from 2020, but humans – and libraries – are endlessly adaptable.

Here’s what the Library is doing to keep you (and us) safe:

  • Staff wear masks while working with the public
  • We’ve started a curbside pickup program
  • You can now sign up for a Digital Library Card online
  • Library events are now virtual (like our Toddler Storytime and Summer Reading Program)
  • We’re asking patrons to limit their time in the Library & practice social distancing
  • We’ve removed many chairs and tables and spread computers further apart
  • We’re doing extra cleaning and sanitizing, including cleaning computers between users
  • We’ve added two self-checkout stations
  • All returned materials are sanitized and quarantined for 72 hours

We’re also collecting resources to help with the adjustment to working and learning from home, to entertain and educate children, and to help us all manage anxiety and do our best in this strange new world.

Check back often; we’ll be adding to these lists constantly.
